The Claudia Andujar Pavilion, devoted to the work of the Brazilian photographer (she was born in Switzerland but has been living in Brazil from the 50s) is Inhotim´s 19th gallery and its second largest building. It was designed by Belo Horizonte based firm Arquitetos Associados, a familiar face from the art complex.

The project, located on a slope among dense native vegetation, consists of a set of volumes, linked by a courtyard. The boxes, as decided together with the curator Rodrigo Moura, shelter the exhibition divided in four parts. The presence of the large building is soften, in a manner of speaking, by the treatment of the surfaces, clad on fluted bricks.
