“Lina Bo Bardi e o Triângulo Mineiro” at Espirito Santo Do Cerrado Church, Uberlândia MG, Brazil |

Next month Italian (and also Brazilian) architect Lina Bo Bardi´s centenary will be celebrated. Several events, mainly in Brazil, are showing her different features, as was shown in a previous newsletter. The Espirito Santo do Cerrado Church, one of her vernacular inspired projects, was re-opened this month, after a process of restoration.

Since last week you can visit the parish home, where “Lina Bo Bardi e o Triângulo Mineiro” is being shown. It features tapestry works based on designs by Edmar de Almeida. The theme alludes to an old exhibition by Lina Bo Bardi in 1975, also about de Almeida´s works.
