Since october 12th you can visit the X Bienal de Arquitetura de São Paulo, undoubtedly one of the most important event on architecture in South America. This year´s event is curated by Guilherme Wisnik and, unlike previous biennials, this one is being shown in several venues. The main exhibition is located at Centro Cultural São Paulo, and will be theme of a future newsletter.

Leonardo Finotti has shot all the different locations, and today´s newsletter shows images of MASP´s exhibition, called "O asfalto e a areia" (Asphalt and sand) and talks about the relationship between architecture and art in the sixties-seventies. The show features works by Vilanova Artigas, Paulo Mendes da Rocha, Lina Bo Bardi, Hélio Oiticica and Cildo Meireles.
